Installation instructions:
May 12, 2014 - When you compile an airport with ADE one or more bgl files will get. ADE provides an extended compile option for FS9 only. Aircraft Rwy 23/5. Etc!how can one convert this bgl. To initiate in FSX? Files and I am using FSX Steam Edition with Prepar3d v1.4 sdk tools. Why Can't I add Freeway Traffic? It will work only with FS2004, FSX, and FSX Steam. Save or convert your flight plans in various formats such as FSX, PMDG, Radar Contact. Both airborne and ground AI traffic; get TCAS warnings for approaching AI aircraft. As the detailed documentation of the LOG files only for commercial users (licensed separately).
- Just unpack the ZIP-file into a folder of your choice. Older versions of the software may be completely overwritten, unless you prefer to keep the old INI file with your personal settings.
- No further installation is required, everything you will need are the executable files, and for AIT2X the file 'ICAO_dc.lst'.
Requirements:
- The programs contained in this package are intended for use with Microsoft Flight Simulators, Version 9 or 10 (FSX). For AIT2X, deluxe version of FSX including FSX SDK with TrafficDatabaseBuilder is required.
- Development operating system was Windows XP Home, but even a Windows 2000 system should work. Windows Vista could not be tested. In previous versions I got information that admin rights were required to run the programs. At least your account will need write access rights for the program executable path to create the log files.
- The programs will try to use the most up-to-date version of FS (FS9, FSX) they will find on your system, also depending on the 'ForceVersion' setting in the INI files.
The archive aitpak20.zip has 30 files and directories contained within it.
File Contents
This list displays the first 500 files in the package. If the package has more, you will need to download it to view them.

Installation of Add-on Aircraft/Scenery
Most of the freeware add-on aircraft and scenery packages in our file library come with easy installation instructions which you can read above in the file description. For further installation help, please see our Knowledge Center for our full range of tutorials or view the README file contained within the download.
Using a provided installer
If the aircraft comes with an installer then you just have to point it to the right path. The path to the steam edition for FSX is usually the following.
64-bit Windows
Steam Install Path: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFSX
32-bit Windows
Steam Install Path: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonFSX
Manually installing
Manually installing aircraft files is just a matter of copying the contents of the downloaded archive to the correct folders.
Aircraft Files
Most of the important files which are contained in a folder usually named after the aircraft will go under the 'path_to_fsxSimObjectsAirplanes' folder. This is usually the folder containing the Model, Panel, Sound and Texture subfolders.
64-bit Windows
Steam Install Path: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFSXSimObjectsAirplanes
32-bit Windows
Steam Install Path: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonFSXSimObjectsAirplanes
Custom Gauges
If the downloaded aircraft contains custom gauges then these will go under the following folder paths. Only copy the gauges and not the folder itself to this directory.
64-bit Windows
Steam Install Path: C:Program Files (x86)SteamsteamappscommonFSXGauges
32-bit Windows
Steam Install Path: C:Program FilesSteamsteamappscommonFSXGauges
